These falls can be found at the foot of Mount Botolan near the town of Binuclutan,
Zambales. It is about 2 km by foot from the National Highway.
How to get there
This is a trekker destination. We recommend the use of GPS coordinates and track
data as guides to go to this destination. You can download the waypoints file binukf.txt
from the Downloads page and upload it to your GPS receiver.
Tips
The trail start point (named START on the waypoints file) is along the National Highway
between Cabangan and Botolan. If you are driving your own vehicle to get to this
start point, you will have to park and leave your vehicle on the roadside while you go
on foot to the waterfalls.
The track shown on the waypoints file (binukf.txt) shortcuts through a fenced area of
land which we assume is private property. While it looks like hikers have been allowed to
shortcut through this property to get to the falls, the owners may exercise their rights
to post a No Trespassing sign in the future and you will have to go around the said area.
In this case, anybody who gets to record the new bypass track is invited to share
the new track on this website.
