Built in 1687 and completed in 1690. Large portions got burned during the
Philippine-Spanish and Philippine-American wars and the bell tower was damaged
during World War II. Restoration work was initiated by the parish priest
in 1951 and was largely supported by civic religious organizations and citizens.
